This course is aimed at front line workers, local businesses and members of the public who come into contact with potential survivors of domestic abuse.  It provides information about identification of types of abuse, and signposting options.   The course is interactive and covers a variety of topics linked to domestic abuse.

On completion of the training delegates will be able to:

  • Identify the different types of abuse.

  • Understand the implications of abuse on the family, particularly children

  • Be able to have an initial conversation with a survivor

  • Identify and signpost to relevant pathways for support
