What’s been happening at 43 Bakery

It’s less than 3 weeks  until 43 Bakery opens its doors! Work is still underway to ensure we have everything ready to go. Finishing touches are being put in place in the bakery with the arrival of new equipment and stock, which we hope will soon need refilling! Our banner is now up on the railings outside and has attracted a lot of interest from passers by, which is what we like to hear!

Wayne, who is the Baker has now joined us and has been busy making sure he has everything needs for when he starts baking.

Volunteering opportunities

We are delighted to be able to offer volunteering opportunities at 43 Bakery. It is lovely to be able to offer a space where clients and local people can rebuild their confidence whilst gaining new skills. We have started advertising for this and would love to hear from anyone who is interested. 

All bakery profits will go to Future Living and will ensure more people can access our services. By volunteering you will be part of making this happen!. Days available are Monday, Wednesday and/or Friday from 8.00 to 2pm (could be negotiable) You could work one or more days. Our Baker is continuing to put together our full menu, which will include a selection of delicious breads and pastries which will be freshly made each day.
