Words from our Clients…

more thank you cards

Here at Future Living Hertford, our clients are at the heart of what we do and why we do it.

Feedback is crucial not only to ensure that we are meeting the needs of our clients but also to guide and educate us how to improve, enhance and adapt our approach to helping. Below are some examples of some of the feedback we have received from recent clients.

You do loads of things well. You ‘get’ victims experiences of domestic abuse, understand, and can say in your own terms the impact of abuse on victims both parents and children.

You offered me the right balance between validating my emotions, supporting me, but also helping me move forward and find solutions in order to manage in a system that does not support victims (in my experience and many victims I know and follow on twitter).

You were flexible and offered a package of support that was suitable for our individual family.

We also received feedback from parents about their children’s experience.

Loved the sessions for my daughter! She loved them and beams when she speaks of her therapist. The session provided a space for my daughter to simply be herself. Just beautiful!

Our Sugarfoot Boxing Club, newly started, is already proving a huge success and we have had lots of people joining having heard great things about it.

Our son thoroughly enjoyed the boxing session this morning.  In raving about it, our other son asked if he could attend please?

A client that took part in our Wise Guys programme, (for men that have been victims of Domestic Abuse), had this to say:

Even though we are only halfway through the course it has massively changed me, I have learnt to control my emotions, to step away and take a deep breath and reflect on what I want and how I can achieve it.

We take great pride in hearing that we have helped people in their journey, but we are equally as keen to hear how we can build on and adapt what we do or how we can tailor our service to provide the right kind of help to those that need it.
