Mia

“You don’t have to know what to say or have everything figured out—just coming along is enough, and we can work things out together.

I understand how important your child is to you, and I will work with care, respect, and compassion to support them in a way that feels safe and right for them.”

Mia has been with the Future Living Team for four years as a counsellor and now specialises in supporting children and young people. Mia is also a foster carer, which brings valuable insight and understanding into her work.

Mia is passionate about supporting children’s mental health and wellbeing, and offers a warm, caring, and approachable space where children of all ages can feel safe and heard. Her counselling approach is neurodiversity-affirming, celebrating each child’s individuality and strengths.

She understands that coming to counselling can feel like a big step for both children and their families and aims to make the experience as supportive and reassuring as possible.
