Our specialist service for children and families
At Future Living Hertford, we are committed to preventing and reducing the impact of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and poor mental health through holistic, trauma-informed support for children, young people and families.
Shaped by evidence, research and lived experience, our dedicated children and young people’s services are designed around the voices and needs of children themselves. Open to all, it provides specialist support for those affected by domestic abuse, helping them to feel safe, understood and supported in their recovery.
Through a blend of creative and therapeutic interventions, we support children and young people to process their experiences, build resilience and develop healthier futures.
Alongside direct support, we contribute to ongoing research and learning, helping to inform and improve policy and practice both locally and nationally – so that more children and families receive the support they need, when they need it.
